Full Filipino Food Recipe Chicken Tinola
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced thinly
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 medium green papaya, peeled, seeded, and cut into wedges
- 2 cups spinach leaves
- Fish sauce (patis) to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:
- Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.

- Place the chicken pieces into the pot and cook until lightly browned on all sides.
